Everything with the trek far exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by the personal service we received...it was incredible! Jesus was a phenomenal guide. He was very knowledgable and personable. We had a lot of fun with him. Our cook, Wilbur was amazing as well. The food was so delicious and he even let us watch how he prepared it! Temateo, the horseman was kind and extremely hardworking. Everything was always ready to go and in great condition.

The trek itself was beautiful! We loved going through the little villages, seeing local people, and witnessing amazing landscapes.

The only recommendation I can think of is to send out the packing list that appeared on the map that we received the night before the trek before the people leave for Peru just to make sure that they have everything they need. Everything else was just perfect! All of our drivers and hotel people were always waiting for us on time and we did not have to worry about a thing!

We will definitely be recommending your services to our friends who want to travel!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for making this vacation so simple and easy.  This allowed us to focus on just having fun and enjoying the wonderful experience in Cusco, Aguas Calientes, and especially Machu Picchu. 

 

Cusco, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, Pisaq, etc...

 

·         We really liked the Inkarri Hostel.  The accommodations were simple but clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and happy.

·         We have mixed feelings about the route to the main plaza where we spent much of our time in Cusco.  The road (Recolleta) was very narrow and we felt concerned most of the time as we walked with the kids.  However, at the same time it made the visit memorable as it was unique.

·         The tours of the Sun Temple and other local sites was superb.  We would have liked to have known about the market we saw as we came down from our hotel and were driving to the airport. I liked the fact that it contained everything we might have wanted under one roof.

·         We loved our lunch in Urubamba

·         We enjoyed Pisaq and our afternoon at Ollantaytambo.

·         The guides (Ruben and the other lady) were very professional and knowledgeable and able to communicate their messages very clearly in English.

 

Aguas Calientes

 

·         Again, the accommodations were simple but clean. 

·         The town itself was interesting but clearly just a stepping stone for the greater objective which was to see and experience Machu Picchu.

 

Machu Picchu

 

·         The visit to Machu Picchu exceeded our expectations.   Daniel was the perfect guide - very knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and spoke English very well.  I can´t put into words the overall experience as it is almost indescribable. 

·         One thing we would have liked was to stay until later in the day on the second day in Aguas Calientes so as to be able to return one more time to Machu Picchu and one or both of the peaks Huayna or Machu Picchu.

 

Overall, we had an incredible time and noticed the small details that allowed us to focus on the vacation and experience (ticket organization, agendas, etc...)  We would not hesitate to recommend you Percy and your company to any of our friends or associates and feel sure that they would have a similar experience to our own.  Thank for the personal attention and for a wonderful experience in Peru!
